Fahrradanhänger für Wing Foil

Hand and bike trailer

reacha was equally designed as a hand cart and a bicycle trailer. The shape of the frame and the drawbar have been chosen so that you can also pull the loaded trailer comfortably and for longer distances in manual mode. With the optionally available Bike Connector, you can turn the handcart into a bicycle trailer. Thanks to the snap lock, coupling and uncoupling is very easy and requires no tools.

Adjustable length

By using the snap locks, the reacha SPORT drawbar can be pulled out and extended at any time. In addition, the Bike Connector 2.0 can also be extended in itself.

Strong and lightweight

By using high-quality anodised aluminium tubes from Belgium we can keep the weight down while at the same time ensuring maximum stability.

In addition, we have reduced plastic to the bare minimum during development. For the remaining plastic parts we use so-called "injected carbon", which mainly comes from recycled carbon fibre from aviation. It is particularly stable and durable.

Made in Germany

"Everything is coming from China anyway! And they want so much money for that!" we unfortunately hear again and again from people who come into contact with our advertising on social media but don't bother to actually look into reacha. By now we can proudly claim that 85% of reacha is produced in Europe. Finally, all the parts come together at our premises in Tegernsee. There, the last parts are assembled, everything is checked and then packed and shipped. You can get a detailed insight into our supply chain below.

Adjustable width

Every reacha frame can be adjusted in width by means of the snap locks without any tools.

Modular design

Using the snap locks, each reacha is modularly expandable. No matter whether you need an additional loading bar, a second drawbar or a different loading area. In just a few steps and without tools, you have converted your reacha and made it ready for other purposes.

Made in Germany

We assemble and ship your reacha from Gmund am Tegernsee with attention to detail. Since sustainability is important to us, we also value quality and the shortest possible distances from our producers.

Our supply chain

Tubes

Our anodized aluminum tubes are produced and cut to the right length by a renowned aluminum manufacturer in Belgium. Since we are a very small customer, our insight into the supply chain ends here and unfortunately we cannot say exactly where the aluminum itself comes from.

Wheels

The reacha wheels are produced for us by an experienced Italian tire manufacturer.

Packagings

We obtain our shipping packaging made of cardboard from Lengries, just before the Austrian border. The raw materials for production are mostly recycled cardboard and scrap wood from the Bavarian and Austrian forests, which is hardly suitable for other uses than corrugated cardboard.

Assembly & Shipping

Everything comes together at our headquarters in Gmund am Tegernsee. Particularly important parts, such as the bike connector, are assembled here by us and checked for functionality. Then we pack them securely for you and send them on their journey with DHL.

Frame

Our frame is bent by hand in the Bavarian town of Rosenheim from aluminum strand tubes and fitted with the other components such as the snaplocks.

Textiles

Unfortunately, we cannot avoid China either. We continue to source our textiles for trunks, neoprene and bike connectors from China. As best we can, we try to ship them to Germany by train.

Injection molding

The stem for the Bike Connector 2.0 rear end is also still produced in China using injection molding. Of course we try, if possible, to use the train to Europe for transport.

Reflectors

In the past, all tires came from Taiwan, but now only the reflectors that come with the bike connector are left.

Although 85% of our added value is now in the EU, we cannot ignore Asia either. We continue to source our textiles for trunks, neoprene and bike connectors from China.
